Demi-Hollow
This is an earthbound spirit who's evolving into a hollow. In most cases, it takes up to a month or so to fully transform into a hollow, but this process can be quickened by prying open the hole in the hollow's chest.

Earthbound Spirits
Spirits that are bound to a certian area that held great importance to them when they were living are called Earthbound Spirits. These spirits haunt a certian territory till they finally become a hollow. Since the soul is so incorporated with that certian area, it is hard for the shinigami's trackers to locate them.

Hollows
These spirits are the ones to watch out for. They are the ones that cause what seems to be random explosions and deaths of seemingly random humans. Souls of the dead can turn into hollows by many ways. One way is to be devoured by another hollow. Sometimes a spirit can also be d**ned to a certian place, such as its death place or another place of great importance to the sipirt. After the durration of time, a hole where the soul's heart belongs starts to form.

Menos
A menos only comes to be when many small hollows form together to combine a gigantic hollow known as a "Menos". Menos are very rare showing up in the living world and are very powerful.

Modified Soul
These artificial spirits were created in a form of a pill to be inserted into dead humans, thus giving them a body and were used to fight off hollows. These modified soul are gifted with strength that no normal human would be able to have. But modified soul's were to be excuted because they were immoral.

Pluses
These spirits do no harm to humans. They are the souls of those who have died but have not yet become a hollow or sent to Soul Society. It is another one of the shinigami's tasks to guide these lost souls to Soul Society where they can finnaly rest in peace
